The symposium features a keynote address, research and practice presentations, a student competition, and exhibitor opportunities, supporting dialogue across higher education, further education, and industry. Contributions examine innovative uses of XR, critical perspectives on immersive learning, and practical challenges in design and implementation.

EduXR Symposium 2026 takes place on 12 May 2026 at the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus. The event is organised by the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation and Development and is open to academic staff, professional staff, students, researchers, and practitioners with an interest in immersive technologies and digital learning.
